I began my journey at Best Buy Geek Squad in Martinsburg, WV, in September 2023 as a Consultation Agent, where I engaged with clients to address their technology issues. I provided expert advice on products and services, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and conducted product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding. In addition to resolving client issues, I successfully sold various services, devices, and memberships as part of Best Buy’s corporate strategy. Due to my strong performance, the company offered me a transfer to a busier location in Hagerstown, MD, which has significantly contributed to my professional growth and development.
Best Buy Geek Squad at Hagertown, MD (Store #1445)
I began my journey as an Advanced Repair Agent at 1445 in January 2024, where I quickly expanded my expertise in hardware, software, networking, security, and BIOS. This role has provided me with invaluable experience that has significantly contributed to my success in the IT industry.
In my position, I deliver technical support to over 6,500 clients, boasting a 98% success rate and an impeccable Net Promoter Score (NPS). I have successfully generated over $120,000 in revenue, comprised of $37,500 in membership fees and $82,800 in service fees. Additionally, I have restored more than 2TB of data from malfunctioning internal and external hard drives while mentoring three junior agents daily and leading monthly group training sessions. My responsibilities also include performing routine maintenance and optimizations for approximately 2,200 PCs, 180 tablets, and 830 phones, along with maintaining detailed records for around 200 service tickets using ticketing software like NOVA and Workbench.

i1SEVENTEEN
Aside from working in IT, I love to help my community. Currently, I am a Chair member of a community service organization called i1SEVENTEEN in Greencastle, PA. There, I spearhead a subcommittee of 22 students focused on analyzing data to assess resource and assistance allocation effectively. I facilitate membership growth by networking with other campus organizations, which has resulted in a 15% increase in membership. Additionally, I coordinate volunteer trips to various communities within the county, successfully managing nine trips to date. I also participate in monthly clean-up days, collecting waste from neighborhoods surrounding the campus.
WellSpan Health
Additional to i1SEVENTEEN, I also actively volunteer at WellSpan Health in Chambersburg, PA. Up-til-now, I provide companionship to over 250 patients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering meaningful connections. Additionally, I support more than 40 nurses by assisting with various tasks, including answering phone calls, obtaining supplies, and facilitating patient transport.
